Dave, the Magician, performing in the Pacific Parlor Car. There is always an entertainer on the Amtrak Coast Starlight. Every afternoon, Amtrak hosts either a wine or champagne tasting. Fruit, cheese and crackers are also served during the tasting. Everything is complimentary. You usually get the chance to try 3 different wines or champagnes that are provided free by vineyards along the route of the Coast Starlight. The entertainer usually does a performance in the Pacific Parlor Car during this tasting.
