This is a wall mural inside the offices of the Amtrak 14th St. Car Shop in Chicago, Illinois. The mural was painted by Carlos Medina, a carman that works downstairs on the rip track heavy heavy. I've posted every photo that I took in the Amtrak Chicago Car Shop to this slide show. Some photos are quite interesting and others are more mundane. If you see some photos that don't seem too interesting, don't give up! Make your way all the way through the slide show and you will definitely find several interesting photos.
The photos in this slide show were taken in the mid-1990's by Steve Grande on his Amtrak travels throughout the nation. The size of the photos is purposely smaller as disk space was expensive and download speeds were slower at that time.
