After carrying the poinsettia plants to our vehicles we didn't go to the Golden Spike Ceremony as there was too large a crown to get near the front for decent photographs. Instead we headed straight to the Metrolink train to wait for the doors to open. Once the doors opened, we headed to the upper level to have a good view of the scenery. As you can see from the above photogrpahs, there were news channels filming on the platform. Some of the news videos and other news links can be viewed on Page 7 of this report.
