This is just the beginning of the National Amtrak version, but I wanted to post it as a demo of what's to come. At this point this applet runs the longer distance Amtrak trains listed in the new National Timetable. This means 21 different routes running 48 scheduled trains. The larger cities will soon be labeled. If all goes well, I will soon be adding a zoom feature to allow you to click your mouse on a location to zoom in for a closer look. As you zoom in the smaller cities will then be labeled.

The long awaited Trip Planner is getting closer to completion. This feature will allow you to click on a departure and destination station to produce a custom schedule. Also, schedules and station information can be made available through this interactive Java applet.
