Orange County Transportation Authority Celebrated 11 years of Metrolink Service

On Saturday, April 30, 2005 the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) offered free rides all day on Metrolink between Fullerton and San Juan Capistrano. Visitors to the event were invited to bring the whole family to enjoy the day and discover how fun it is to discover Orange County on a train!

  • Trains ran between Fullerton and San Juan Capistrano.
  • No ticket was required to board.

Orange County's Metrolink program was made possible by OCTA's rapid implementation of a comprehensive capital improvement plan made up of Measure M funds and funds from statewide Propositions 108 and 116. OCTA also funds the operation of commuter rail service in Orange County through Measure M.
